RTD On Competitiveness for northern region has been successfully carried out on 23rd February 2010 at Dewan Produktiviti , Malaysian Productivity Corporation. Around 47 participants joined the 1st session and another 25 participants joined the RTD at 2nd session. Participants are from various government department and private sector as well.

The event was officiated by MPC Senior Director Pn Lee Saw Hoon with welcoming remarks. MPC speakers Puan Halimahton Saadiah Let and Puan Nor Halisa Mohd Halil had provided great input on general view of competitiveness and Malaysia’s ranking in global view. The event was more informative with the arrival and speech input by external speaker from Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) Northern branch and Citigroup(M) Sdn Bhd.

Mr Khoo Cheok Sin the Vice Chairman of FMM and Mr Christopher Maurillio , Director of CTSM Trade Operation Citigroup of Penang has come up with various issues and challenges in service, manufacturing industry according current global issue.
